Drawing, Bill of Material, and Title Block Layout

You can design your own bill of material and title block, use the SteelCad default title block and bill of material design, or plot to pre-printed sheets. SteelCad will fully bill each piece and provide weights, and shop and/or field bolts, if you choose. Its bill of material design module is highly customizable, and includes categorized material, advanced bill of material reference, line numbering, individual and shipping quantities, sequences or divisions, and much more. Plus, each bill of material column can be sized to match your current configuration.

Title blocks can be easily designed and customized to suit your needs. The standard design includes customer name, job title, erector, drawing number, detailer and checker initials and dates, revision blocks, and contract number, all automatically generated. Or, you can customize or alter these or create your own.

Sheets can be plotted directly from SteelCad or sent to your CAD system to plot from there. Currently, SteelCad supports direct plotted sheets of B, C, or D sized drawings, but you can plot drawings from your CAD system to any scale at any size that your CAD system supports.
